Welcome to the workshop of the project "A House in the Bijlmer", that will take place on September 28 at Lola Bae (Hettenheuvelweg 16). It will be a moment to share our living experience in the Bijlmer, with each other. The questions we will ask will be: How do we live together in this place? What influence do housing systems have on neighborhood life? It will also be a moment to listen to each other and share with Bijlmer's neighbours. It will be a diverse group. The project welcomes a diverse group in terms of age, gender, backgrounds, coming from diverse Bijlmer neighbourhoods and with diverse housing experience.

And together we will make artistic creations that express the ideas that came out of our conversation. The dialogue that will take place between workshop participants will be a great source of inspiration for the construction of works. All artistic means will be welcome. It will be an open space to meet and create together. I will share my artistic knowledge and facilitate the dialogue among participants. This day will start at 10.00 and end at 19.00, and we will enjoy lunch together as well.

During the month of October we will have the chance to work together in our creations at the LOLABAE special project space of Not Yet SHEBANG, all participants are encouraged to come to the space and develop their productions. The final product will be exhibited at the Artist in Residence exhibition CBK Zuidoost, which opens during Museumnacht on November 2nd and stays open during one month time.

Welkom bij de workshop van het project "A House in The Bijlmer", dat zal plaatsvinden op 28 september in Lola Bae (Hettenheuvelweg 16). Het wordt een moment om onze woonervaring in de Bijlmer met elkaar te delen. De vragen die we zullen stellen zijn: hoe leven we samen op deze plek? Welke invloed hebben huisvestingssystemen op het buurtleven? Het wordt ook een moment om naar elkaar te luisteren en te delen met de buren van Bijlmer. Het wordt een diverse groep. Het project verwelkomt een diverse groep op het gebied van leeftijd, geslacht, achtergronden, afkomstig uit verschillende Bijlmer-buurten en met uiteenlopende woonervaring.

En samen zullen we artistieke creaties maken die de ideeën uit ons gesprek weergeven. De dialoog die zal plaatsvinden tussen workshopdeelnemers zal een grote bron van inspiratie zijn voor de constructie van werken. Alle artistieke middelen zijn welkom. Het wordt een open ruimte om elkaar te ontmoeten en samen te creëren. Ik zal mijn artistieke kennis delen en de dialoog tussen deelnemers vergemakkelijken. Deze dag begint om 10.00 uur en eindigt om 19.00 uur, en we zullen ook samen lunchen.

Tijdens de maand oktober zullen we de kans krijgen om samen te werken in onze creaties bij Not Yet SHEBANG, de speciale projectruimte van LOLABAE. Alle deelnemers worden aangemoedigd om naar de ruimte te komen en hun producties te ontwikkelen. Het eindproduct wordt tentoongesteld op de Artist in Residence-tentoonstelling van de CBK Zuidoost, die tijdens Museumnacht op 2 november opent en gedurende een maand open blijft.
